These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to woodeninteriors.site and describe the general terms under which Wooden Interiors Inc. provides design, fabrication and installation of interior wood work. By using this website you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Wooden Interiors Inc. is an interior wood fabrication and installation company located at 14710 NW 121st Terrace, Alachua, FL 32615, serving Gainesville, Alachua County and North Central Florida.

2. Website Use

• Use this site for lawful purposes only.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access to the site.
• Do not copy, scrape or republish site content, project photographs or drawings without written permission.
• Do not submit false information or use our forms for unsolicited commercial messages.

3. Information Is Not An Offer

Prices, ranges, timelines and descriptions on this website, including those on the homepage, pricing page and finishes page, are general information for planning. They are not quotes, offers or guarantees. Wood pricing in particular moves with the lumber market.

4. Quotes And Proposals

• Quotes are based on the dimensions and conditions provided or observed at the site visit.
• Each written proposal states an expiration date, commonly 30 days, because material pricing changes.
• Allowances, exclusions and assumptions stated in the proposal control over anything said verbally or shown on this website.
• Only a proposal accepted in writing by both parties creates a binding agreement.

5. Deposits And Payment

• A deposit, typically 50 percent, is required to release material and shop time.
• Deposits become non refundable once material has been ordered or fabrication has begun, because work is made to your specification and cannot be resold.
• The balance is due on completion or per the milestone schedule in your agreement.
• Past due balances may accrue interest and collection costs as permitted by Florida law.

6. Drawings And Intellectual Property

Drawings, shop drawings, renderings and design concepts we produce remain the intellectual property of Wooden Interiors Inc. They are provided for the purpose of reviewing and building your project with us, and may not be used to solicit bids from or have work produced by another shop without our written permission and payment of a design fee.

7. Natural Material Variation

Wood is a natural material. Color, grain, figure, mineral streaking and character marks vary between boards and between production runs. Species including walnut, cherry and white oak change color measurably with age and light exposure. Samples and photographs are representative, not exact. Reasonable variation is a characteristic of the material and is not a defect. Where appearance is critical, we encourage you to approve material in person before fabrication.

8. Movement And Environment

Wood expands and contracts with humidity. Seasonal movement, minor gapping at panel joints and hairline finish checking are normal and are not defects. Interiors should be kept within normal residential conditions. Damage from flooding, prolonged humidity extremes, direct water exposure or a property left unconditioned is not covered.

9. Site Conditions

Walls, floors and ceilings are frequently out of plumb, level or square, particularly in older construction. We measure and scribe to actual conditions, and our proposal assumes conditions observed at the site visit. Conditions discovered later that materially change the work, including structural issues, moisture damage or concealed obstructions, require a written change order.

10. Client Responsibilities

• Provide access to the site on scheduled installation days
• Ensure the area is clear and, where required, that floors and walls are finished first
• Approve drawings before fabrication begins
• Make selections by the dates in the schedule
• Provide adequate power and safe working conditions
• Obtain HOA, condominium or landlord approvals where they apply

11. Scope And Other Trades

Unless stated in your proposal, our scope does not include electrical work, lighting installation, drywall repair beyond minor patching at our work, painting of surrounding walls, structural modification or permitting. Where those trades are involved, coordination is the responsibility of the client or general contractor.

12. Lead Times

Lead times are good faith estimates measured from approved drawings and deposit receipt, not from first contact. Material availability, mill delays, finish cure times, site readiness and weather can affect schedule. We communicate changes as soon as we are aware of them.

13. Warranty

Warranty terms are described on our Warranty and Care page and in your written agreement.

14. Portfolio Use

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website and social media. Client names and exact addresses are not published without permission, and you may opt out in writing.

15. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including delay of other trades or lost use of a room.

16. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including hurricanes, severe weather, flooding, material shortages, mill delays, labor disruption or government action.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alachua County, Florida, unless your agreement provides otherwise.

18. Changes And Contact

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated date. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for that project.
